Today was all about discovery and inspiration. During our annual company excursion, we visited two leading businesses in their field: VD Holland and Plantenkwekerij Gitzels.

VD Holland is one of the market leaders in Dutch bell pepper production, supplying a wide range of supermarkets both nationally and internationally. Plantenkwekerij Gitzels operates much earlier in the production chain, growing young cabbage plants from seed to provide outdoor growers with the best possible starting material for their cultivation.

During the company visits, the focus was on the production process, the product itself, and the high level of innovation. We sincerely thank VD Holland and Plantenkwekerij Gitzels for their warm hospitality and hope to welcome them to Jan de Wit en Zonen sometime in the future.
