77th succesful participation at the Holland Flowers Festival 2010

Herewith we are proud to inform you that this year we participated again in the Holland Flowers Festival, which took place from February 24 till 28. The Festival took place for the 77th time this year, and we have been participating since the beginning, so this year has been the 77th anniversary of both the festival and our participation in the festival.
Besides, we are very pleased to inform you that we again succeeded in winning the following awards:
- The Silver Iris Award, 1st prize in the category “Iris” with 8,7 points
- 1st prize in the category “Hyacinths” with 9,1 points
- 1st prize in the category “Mixed group (tulip, lily, iris, and hyacinth) with 9,4 points
This year the theme of the Festival was “Spring in Volendam" famous singer sang the praise of the village Volendam in the words: "Anyone who wants to see the real beauty of Holland, goes to Volendam". The village is a symbol of Holland worldwide, just as the beautiful tulip flower. These two worlds came together in the largest indoor bulb flower garden of The Netherlands.
Through this “Volendam Spring” theme, exhibitors showed the most colourful side of The Netherlands. The flower garden breathed the atmosphere of the popular fishing village with corresponding typical Volendam music, wooden shoes and traditional dress. Besides, visitors could admire the compositions of dozens of growers and horticulturists, who transformed the more than 4,500 square meters into a spectacular show.
