Damage caused by fungus During the storage, brown, dry rotten spots develop on the scales of the bulbs, which continue to spread, even at low temperatures.Diseases: Storage rot (Penicillium species) 
On the tissue that has been affected, a white mycelium is growing gradually and produces blue greenish spores.
